"etc" is the abbreviation for the Latin word etcetera. et = and, cetera = the rest. So etcetera(อ่านว่า เอ๊ก-เซ็ท-ทรา) means the rest of the things related to your thought.
For example: When I go shopping I'm going to buy shirts, pants, socks, etc. (Etcetera in this case would indicate you're going to buy more types of clothes like shoes, a coat, or skirts).
