BRITISH MODEL, 21, FELL TO HER DEATH FROM NOTORIOUS AUSTRALIAN CLIFF-TOP SELFIE SPOT 'WHILE SITTING ON THE EDGE AND POSING FOR A PHOTO' AFTER A PARTY

Brit model Madalyn Davis was posing for a photo on a cliff-top after a party when she fell 98ft to her death, a friend has told reporters.

The 21-year-old  from Lincoln died in the early hours of Sunday after plunging from Diamond Bay cliffs in Sydney.

Lydia Woodward, who is a close family friend, said 'Maddy' had been at a party with friends in Vaucluse when they decided to go to the clifftop to take pictures as the sun rose at 6.30am.

She said Madalyn was sitting on the cliff edge to have a photo taken when she fell, describing it as "such a tragedy".

The group of friends is thought to have climbed over a fence to sit on the edge of the cliff to watch the sunrise before she plunged to her death.

The Diamond Bay cliffs are a popular selfie spot with tourists.

Her family desperately tried to track her down after failing to hear from her all day on Sunday.
